Traveling Cities With Photos

With this activity, we aimed to raise the awareness of our students and create a common product on the eTwinning day. We created our activity plan by taking the ideas of our partners and students. We planned and shared our product planning on the Linoit board. When we finished our work, we closed the board for sharing. Our students worked on a common product for the eTwinning day. Our joint product work was a collage of letters and numbers. In our project, students from different countries and cities came together by writing a joint article. Although they were not physically together, they met in purpose and formed a common product. They traced and painted the letters as they wished. Thus, they used their artistic talents.  23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı-23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day We celebrated the children's day by watching short animated elephants with our students, families and teachers. We celebrated this special day, which the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk gifted to Turkish and world children, with children from different countries. For those who could not attend the event live, we shared the links and they participated, albeit asynchronously. We shared our views and wishes on our padlet board. Fraklı Ülkelerden Projemize Katılan Öğrencilerimiz ve Öğretmenlerimizden Oluşan Takımlarımız  Öğrencilerimiz projemize heyecanla katkı sunmaya devam ediyorlar. Amatör fotoğrafçılık denemeleriyle şehirlerini tanıtmaya çalışıyorlar. Yakaladıkları muhteşem kareler için çok teşekkür ederiz.

As I travel cities with photos, we researched the cities we live in. We got to know our cities better and explained them. At the end of this event, our project product, in which we introduced our cities, emerged. Thanks to this event, we aimed to support the recognition of our own city, which is among our project goals. It is impossible for us to tell others about our city without knowing it. Our students have realized this idea. Our students created a city promotion board using the padlet. Al-Mafraq, Akhemeta, Alijó, Barrerio, Bursa, İstanbul, Kastamonu, Van , Budapest, Kırıkkale We included our city symbols in our project. While some of our schools designed their own symbols for their cities, some of our schools participated in the event by introducing the official symbols of their cities. We have already started to get to know the cities participating in our project. Şehir sembollerimizi projemize de dahil ettik. Before taking photos to promote our cities, we organized a photography training for our students. Our online event was completed with our students and other guest students who participated in the event with great interest. After the event, we received positive feedback from our students and teachers. We noticed that they were very eager to take pictures. We observed that our students experienced taking photos while away from school during the pandemic process. They often took photos with their mobile devices and shared them on their social media accounts. After their training, the quality of the photos they took increased.  In this training, subjects such as the history of photography, the factors to be considered while taking photographs, mobile photography, and the examination of the first photographs taken by the students were included.
